An interesting feature in Whiltshire are the White horses. There are many carvings, especially of horses, in the chalk hills in various parts of england, particularly Whiltshire. This one, upon closer inspection had been concreted over which we thought was rather a shame. In this modern age you would think there would be something less intrusive than concrete.
