Drum Castle

Ancestral home of the Irvines.

21 generations of Irvines have lived here for over 650 years from 1323 to 1975.

It has a medieval keep built in the 1200's making it 300 years older than the rest of the castle. It stands at a height of 70 feet.

A jacobean mansion house was later built on the south face by the ninth laird of Drum in 1619. It is connected to the keep on one level.

Several Victorian additions were also made..
