I really had no idea who David Gray was.
I think I downloaded some of his songs back in 2004 when I was trying to build up my CD collection ( before IPods, smartphones, etc…)
Once all of my CD’s were stolen though, David Gray fell off my musical radar.
Until tonight, that is…
The girls and I were set for a nice evening on the lawn, they more excited than I about tonight’s show. But as the evening progressed, the love that comes through in David’s music went into the crowd like a slow wave coming to shore. It covered everyone in giddiness, happiness, could it be….
love.
An emotion that has been gone for far too long, but came back with a vengeance tonight.
