I survived being outside the day before. Although the virus is invisible, the feeling of your body being attacked with this unknown sickness unless one has on a radioactive protective suit weighs heavily on my mind.

Yet I can not stay inside forever, it goes against my very nature. I need to exercise my muscles, let the sun fill me with vitamin D. So I rise early and head on over to Usery Mountain Park to get in some desert trail riding.

The sky is clear, the only sound this early are the flocks of birds overhead. I have no set destination today, I just ride from one trail to another, hour after hour until the day gets too warm to safely stay outside.

Good old Arizona. If the Coronavirus doesn’t kill you, the desert heat certainly will.
