Captain Tripps is taking <\/strong>over the world, yet I will try to resist the temptation to let fear take hold of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not easy. Each cough, sniffle or the feeling of shortness of breath has me wondering if the virus has a hold of me, and if so, where do I go from here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

I want to escape to the arms of my lover, Mother Nature, yet I feel that is selfish and unwise, so I think back to a time when it was safer to venture outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riding the trails <\/strong>of the Sonoran Preserve<\/a> in isolation as the sun rises to a new day. Trying to remember the names of the desert plants I see out here….the ocatillo, the teddy bear cholla, the mighty saguaro cacti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The feeling of pedaling over the dusty desert as the sun fills the blue sky and the temperatures quickly rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I write this for a distraction<\/strong> to our current situation. Many times have I written fictitious stories about the end of the world, knowing that the possibility of it becoming a reality was only a matter of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, like a dying person that is frantically trying to amend loose ends, I will continue to write thoughts and share stories until I no longer can…..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
