Sitting in the stadium, watching our beloved Utah Ute’s<\/a> try to go 2-0 with a win over Utah State.<\/div>\n

CBug is now in fourth grade. I ask him how school is going, and he tells me that they learned about the history of 9\/11.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It’s hard for me to fathom this as history. That day is still as clear to me now as it was back then.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Yet he wasn’t even born, same with his older sister.<\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
As the game goes on, he entertains me with goofy panoramic shots, but I can’t shake the 9\/11 feeling, and how these guys are growing up in a world so different than it was on 9\/10.<\/div>\n

My melancholy feeling passes, slowly, as I hold him just a little tighter, and smile with my little rock star in this new age of the world, of America, of everything.<\/div>\n
