I hear rumors<\/strong> about a vintage RV trailer park in Bisbee where one can rent any number of old school RV’s for a night, a week, or a month. Could The Shady Dell<\/a> be all that, or is it a tourist trap with fleabag white trash trailers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The location initially seemed<\/strong> to indicate that I might have made a bad decision, but I try to keep an open mind. As soon as I pull into the parking lot however, I discover that I’ve gone back in time. Tiki torches, white picket fences, vintage cars and amazing trailers are everywhere, all on a cute little piece of land that transports you to a simpler time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I get the keys<\/strong> to my 1950 Alma trailer, and stumble head over heels in love as I enter. It takes me back to my childhood camping trips and the RV’s that my Aunt’s and Uncle’s had. Every style RV imaginable can be found here. Nostalgia overload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A couple of blocks<\/strong> from The Shady Dell is a tiny little street that is the town of Lowell. The one street town is full of antique shops and murals of alien space ships that some claim visit the skies above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I admire the Indian motorcycles<\/strong> in the store front windows, the old gas station pumps, and the classic, weather beaten advertisements on the abandoned buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bisbee Breakfast club is the only restaurant open, but the food is so damn good I love returning here for all my meals. It’s small town feel hugs me warmly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I overdose on all the cool vibes<\/strong> before heading back to sleep in the Alma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
