Downtown was the new skin, while across the river was the poor and run down, waiting for their chance to also look and feel new.<\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/6f513-dsc01392.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/6f513-dsc01392.jpg?resize=640%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">I see my childhood hero, <a href=\"http:\/\/baseballhall.org\/hof\/morgan-joe\">Joe Morgan<\/a>, immortalized in bronze outside the Red&#8217;s baseball stadium. In my youth I was in foster care for a spell, and during this tumultuous time I latched onto the Cincinnati Red&#8217;s and baseball Joe.<\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/5c9fb-img_9855.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/5c9fb-img_9855.jpg?resize=640%2C480&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">Sometimes reliving memories are akin to playing with fire.
