An endless supply of bridges and friendly downtown streets sum up Pittsburgh for me. Bridges of steel that force you to reconcile with the hard working people that built this town, and whose steel started many other cities across our nation.<\/a>A melting pot of cultures swarm downtown on this day, as a festival of food and drink has made its way to a warm Summer’s Saturday. Laughter abounds as I walk the streets aimlessly, gazing at the architecture of buildings old and new.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The gold and black, known before to me only as Steelers colors, are vibrant everywhere, especially on many of the bridges connecting downtown to the suburbs. It’s a soothing sight here, and one that could only work so perfectly in the Steel City, the ‘Burgh…..<\/a>The City of Bridges.<\/p>\n\n\n
