It’s time for a good cry<\/strong> in my special spot in this world, Joshua Tree. The high clouds slowly wisp along the sky as I explore Ryan ranch on my first day back out here. The last weekend of October it is, and I let the tears flow down my cheeks as I hike, remembering her….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That evening<\/strong> I head back out to the Integratron for a sound bath. A new routine that I’ve added to my yearly sabbatical, and the peace and calm I feel soothes my soul. The sky starts to turn a pinkish and orange hue as I leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coyotes howl at the coming night<\/strong> as I set up my time lapse camera. It’s brilliantly clear in the sky above, and the stars put on a spectacular show. I try a new settings, with amazing results. I head inside to listen to the World Series on the radio as the world rotates on. The sandman takes me quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next morning<\/strong> I rise early and head into the National Park. I decide to hike a portion of the Willow Hole trail. I meditate in the desert silence on a lone rock. I cry again, tell her that I love and miss her terribly, then leave to head back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wonder<\/strong>, do others have a special place in this world to go to? A place to reset from the stresses of life, and the hard times that we all occasionally have to carry and endure on our own life journey?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
