I tried a new hotel<\/strong> over the summer for my work trips to Tucson, Arizona. Right off the interstate, in an area that reminded me of rural Mexico, The Tuxon is surprisingly offbeat and charming. A total hipster vibe that I loved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Being a typical Arizona summer meant not many people were staying here, (I’m sure when I return over the winter this place will be packed) so I had the bar and pool basically to myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m also not a big fan of motels<\/strong> in general, but the Tuxon is gated and locked with security, leaving me not only feeling safe, but also not worried at all about my vehicle. I enjoyed beautiful mornings and evening sunsets, sipping Mexican lagers after the work day was done, and sleeping well in a very comfortable bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

I hope this motel<\/strong> stays in business, as it it a great new place for me to go to in the Tucson area. Give the Tuxon a try if in the area, I think you too may also be pleasantly surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
