Most of my life thus far has been all about luck<\/strong>. Something that initially seemed to ruin a plan or situation turns out to have been just what needed to happen for something truly amazing to follow suit. That is probably the best way to explain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take how a rain storm that last all day ruined my plans to go hiking in Bryce Canyon, yet the rain turned to snow overnight, which led to going to Bryce Canyon the following day a magical experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The early morning light<\/strong> glistened off the snow as I made my way to the park. Upon arrival, I decide to hike down Wall Street, then see how far I wanted to continue. The snow made the trek down the infamous “Wall Street” a challenge, and so I wasn’t sure how much farther I could go, or would even be able to….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It turned out<\/strong> I could go pretty dang far. The stunning red rock spires covered with snow from last night’s storm made this normally great National Park ever better! I was so enthralled with my surroundings that I just keep on hiking, loop after loop, up and over one mountain then the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years<\/strong> I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to Bryce Canyon, yet each and every experience is so different and unique. I do recall coming once in the Spring of 2008, and the snow was well over my 5’4 frame, but being here the day after the first snowfall of 2024 was something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
