Although I fell out of touch with it during later seasons, I thought I would re-watch the show now that I have more time to do so with my recent retirement. It was a scary time in our country. The tragedy that befell him and how he was mysteriously healed after the plane crashed on the island held me captivated. Having worked in healthcare my whole career, I could fully relate to his incredulous transformation, as well as how he wanted to find the cause or at least a deeper meaning behind what happened to him, and why&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ea241b351d75fa7ca97897aaa0b5bd84 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Boone and Shannon were tragic figures. Having lost my own sister in 2007 (which is why I stopped watching the show) had me in tears upon this re-watch.
