Knowing that the touristy crowds would soon be filling the infamous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myczechrepublic.com\/prague\/sightseeing\/charles_bridge.html\">Charles Bridge<\/a> with the rising light, I wanted to walk among the baroque statues in relative silence while I had the chance.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/59036-img_0189-cr2.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/59036-img_0189-cr2.jpg?resize=640%2C426&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The bridge&#8217;s construction started in the year 1357, connecting Prague with Old Town. The thirty odd statues of Kings, Saints, and Knights look down upon us mortals, silently protecting and giving comfort to those that seek it. I feel my own angel with me as I pass each statue.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/57d5a-img_0199-cr2.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/57d5a-img_0199-cr2.jpg?resize=640%2C426&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>As the light changes from purple to a clear blue day, I finish the walk from one end to the other.
