Memorable quotes such as these certainly put this film to the top of my list of favourites.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>&#8220;it&#8217;s like having a penis and a vagina&#8230;&#8221; \u00a0&amp;<\/i>\u00a0<i>&#8221; it&#8217;s my head Schwartz, it&#8217;s my fucking head!&#8221;<\/i><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><i><\/i>When I found that Prague had a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozart.cz\/don-giovanni.php\">National Marionette Theatre<\/a> only a few blocks from me, I instantly purchased a ticket for a showing of Don Giovanni.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/b3fc4-dsc02664.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/b3fc4-dsc02664.jpg?resize=640%2C486&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"486\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Having absolutely no idea what to expect, I made my way down the small, dark alley to the entrance, descended a flights of stairs to the ticket counter.<br \/>I felt like I was going to a seedy burlesque show.<\/p>\n<p>Behind the door though I see a variety of people; old, young couples in love, families&#8230;.I find a seat near the front of the small theatre. Minutes before the show begins, we meet our host for the evening&#8230;..<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/c4404-dsc02639.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/c4404-dsc02639.jpg?resize=640%2C470&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"470\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>He entertains with comedic brilliance, then conducts the symphony as the curtains rises.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/c9084-dsc02643.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/c9084-dsc02643.jpg?resize=640%2C446&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"446\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I can&#8217;t say the show was entirely for children, as there was cursing, nudity and violent monsters ( perhaps though audiences in Bohemia are more tolerable than in the USA, or at least the American family in the audience during this show) but I thought it was hilarious and captivating. It was also very interactive ( I got water tossed on me more than a few times!)<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it was probably the quirkiest and most fun I&#8217;ve had. The artistry that goes into puppeteering is masterful.<\/p>\n<p>A brilliant piece of work.
