I&#8217;ve seen it several times, and I&#8217;m always left blown away at the end. Any movie that leaves one thinking is a good movie, in my opinion.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">_________________________________________________________<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/b0c22-thecove.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/b0c22-thecove.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>The Cove<\/i> ( released in 2009) is a truly fascinating, yet disturbing documentary about the annual killing of dolphins in a National Park at <a title=\"Taiji,  Wakayama\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Taiji,_Wakayama\">Taiji, Wakayama<\/a>, in Japan from an anti\u2013dolphin-hunting campaigner&#8217;s point of view. I first read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dopeylarue.com\/2010\/01\/on-second-third-days-of-dopeys-birthday.html\">Dori&#8217;s review<\/a> about this on her blog, and how she and her BF went to a private screening, and were silent driving home because of brutal imagery and thought provoking nature of this documentary. <i><b>A must see.<\/b><\/i><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">________________________________________________________<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/918b2-200px-eastern_promises.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mywalkabout.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/918b2-200px-eastern_promises.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><i>Eastern Promises<\/i> ( released in 2007) is a Russian crime drama. A realistic portrayal of the Russian mob, and the violence is hard to stomach, but the story and acting is top notch. I&#8217;m also a Naomi Watts fan, and she is superb.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">So that&#8217;s it. My Saturday. I&#8217;m not complaining. And thank you to all who has sent me their &#8216;get well wishes&#8217;.
