As I’m waiting for the Trevor Hall<\/a> show to start in Telluride, I start chatting with the man sitting next to me. Turns out he is a local real estate guy and yoga guru.<\/p>\n

“What hikes do you recommend for someone’s first visit to this town?”<\/p>\n

This is how I found out about the Jud Weibe trail.
\"\" Telluride is a mountain town that has hiking trails start from almost every street. I find the start to Jud Weibe and start wheezing almost instantly. Not only is the starting elevation killer, but this trail zig zags up the mountain in an almost straight vertical climb.<\/p>\n

The flies come to drink the sweet, sweaty nectar that is pouring out of me in buckets. I’ve come to realize that finally my age is starting to catch up with me, and that I have to stop more frequently to rest and catch my breath.<\/p>\n

But I will not let that stop me. I will climb on and finish what I started. I have water and bear spray. and determination.
\"\" My trembling limbs make it to the summit eventually. The tiny town is laid out before, with the summer storm clouds passing quickly by along the skyline.<\/p>\n\n\n
