\"\"One can still climb to the top<\/strong> of the pyramids in Teotihuacan. I join the masses and slowly make my way up the steep steps under the blazing sun. I think back to those that sacrificed themselves to the Gods during a similar journey.

Would I be willing to lay down my life<\/strong>, let my head be separated from my body for the good of the people? The stones slick with blood, the chants of the holy priest that echo against the walls.

Or perhaps I am the one<\/strong> that is handing down judgement, demanding that others lay down their lives. King and executioner I may be as I reign over my kingdom that has been built on the backs of the poor.
\"\"We may never truly know what was in the hearts of men that ruled this city.<\/p>\n\n\n
