I wonder if I’ll encounter<\/strong> another snake today. Day two in the Vortex finds me along the Courthouse Vista trail, the mighty butte ahead of me. Instead of making a straight line for the rocky formation, I decide instead to take my time and encircle the mighty rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The April light is unbelievably special,<\/strong> if that is even possible. I am immersed deeply into the desert red rock as I make my way further into the Vortex. The silence out here is so comforting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel as thought I’m finally back<\/strong> out into the world, and the sense of belonging is strong in my bones, and my soul. I complete the trek around the mighty Courthouse Vista butte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movement is good in oh so many ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day number two in the Vortex and I find the Courthouse Vista trail.
