It’s early on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. I’m sitting in my brother’s basement, sipping coffee and writing this story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story of the game that, in my opinion, turned around the season for our beloved University of Utah Runnin’ Utes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I travel San Francisco to meet up with my Brother and the rest of our tailgating crew. Utah is playing Stanford, and it’s a critical game for both us if we want to have a winning season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We start out by having a lovely dinner on the Oakland pier, followed by an even more amazing breakfast at the oceanside Cliff House<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over crab stuffed eggs benedict and spicy bloody mary’s, we plan out the rest of our day before heading to the game that evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game is our turning point, as we win in decided fashion over Stanford. This win leads to an amazing win streak and eventually the PAC-12 South championship!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonight we are headed to the final game of the season against our in State rival BYU. It will be freezing cold with snow likely, but I don’t care. I love the game, my tailgating crew, and our beloved University of Utah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next week is the PAC 12 championship, back in San Francisco. I wish I could be there, but it will have to only be in spirit this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
