Sin City<\/strong><\/a> is about equal in driving distance<\/strong> from Salt Lake City and Phoenix, so it works out perfectly for my family to meet for a weekend. My niece had her Cheer Competition and I needed to keep a promise to my nephew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I arrive mid-afternoon on a Saturday<\/strong>, and we all decide to go try out an “Escape Room” at Escapology<\/a>. This is my first time trying this out, and I find out that I suck. My brain just doesn’t compute when it comes to figuring these things out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luckily, most of the rest of the family didn’t fare much better, and so we all failed at “escaping”<\/em> in time. Of course, we choose the absolutely hardest room to try and escape from……<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back when my niece was only eleven<\/strong>, I took her to Vegas, just the two of us. I promised my other nieces and nephew that I would do the same when they turned the same age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I moved away, but a promise is a promise. It took me a little longer than anticipated, but this weekend I was able to take my nephew to a Mat Franco<\/a> Magic show (his choice) and we both loved it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole evening we just looked at each other with dropped jaws….“How did he do that?!?”<\/em> Which I believe is the reaction you want from the true wonder of a magician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
