# Love it. Lyle Lovett. - Link: https://mywalkabout.net/love-it-lyle-lovett/ - Published: 2010-07-15T22:13:00-07:00 - Author: My Walkabout [[ [[ July 14th marked the return of [Lyle Lovett and his large band](http://www.lylelovett.com/) back to the SLC to play at the beautiful [Red Butte Gardens](http://www.redbuttegarden.org/). It was a gorgeous evening for a concert, and all us siblings and spouses enjoyed Whole Foods burgers, pasta, and chicken while chilling on blankets. Perfect. [[ This was my 3rd time seeing them, Jared’s 2nd, and the 1st for everyone else. For me, the great aspect of Lyle’s music is it’s ability to cross many generations. I find him to be timeless, and fun for Janae to have a good time with. [[ Ended with “Closing Time”. Perfect night.
