# O - Link: https://mywalkabout.net/o/ - Published: 2011-12-04T22:42:00-07:00 - Author: My Walkabout My first [Cirque de Soleil](http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/welcome.aspx) show was in 1995, when I worked for the company [Holiday Inn](http://www.holidayinn.com/hotels/us/en/reservation?sicreative=9657188713&dp=true&sicontent=0&sitrackingid=237723296&cm_mmc=Google-PS-HolidayInn-_-G+B-Core-_-Holiday%2BInn-_-holiday+inn&siclientid=1952). We went to Las Vegas for a national convention, and they treated us to a showing of Mystere. It was amazing. In 2008, the brothers, their wives, and I drove back to Las Vegas to see the Mystere show again. Being older, I had a greater appreciation for it. The artistry, acrobatics, athleticism, and sheer beauty of it was breath taking.  [](https://i0.wp.com/mywalkabout.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/41291-img_0251.jpg?ssl=1) Tonight I went to see another [Cirque de Soleil](http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/welcome.aspx) show, “O” at the beautiful[ Bellagio](http://www.bellagio.com/) hotel. It, to me, made Mystere look like a children’s puppet show. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. I still can’t get my jaw to close. I’m tingling, it was that good.
