That ‘s right, i finished the 5k in about 40 minutes, which is about 30 minutes faster than i thought i would. Kudos to Scottums! ( the picture here is just after I finished, and it was tough to just give the thumbs up). The Police Officer is Officer Adams. He was the first on the scence of Trudi’s accident. He was also a friend of mine in High School. in fact we both wrestled the same weight class of 99 pounds if you can believe it, and i used to kick his trash every time. The picture doesn’t do him justice, but suffice it to say that wouldn’t be the case anymore. And of course Cedar was doing his part in the race, go all out for the creamie. It was a great tribute and a wonderful day.

As you may or may not be aware, I was not a big fan of this State when i lived here in 2003. Maybe it was because it was right after my ‘unofficial divorce’, or the fact i left Utah and my family for the first time, or because I moved to White Trash cottonwood with no friends and a crappy company to work for…

Whatever the reason, I’m trying to have a new attitude about this State (especially since I spend half my life here because of work- i’m in AZ as I’m typing this) but if anyone does come to this State, I recommend coming any day of the week during 5pm to 8pm. The sunsets here are really something else, and tonight’s was spectacular! I was driving thru an area called Roosevelt Lake and almost drive right into the water the scenary was so beautiful.

I also want everyone to carry a camera with them at all times as i’m so pissed I forgot mine this trip and can’t show you tonight’s sunset from AZ….

I just wanted to give my opinion on satellite radio. It’s awesome and anyone who has the chance to listen to music in this medium defintely should. i was in Omaha on business last week and was lucky enough to get a rental with this feature. i found a totally cool station playing the best of Canadian Indie music. i also had Sirius on my drive to AK which i jammed to some of the best stuff I’ve ever heard.
