I was never a big fan myself, but when their [R40 tour](http://www.rush.com/tour/rush40-tour/) came to the SLC, I decided to give it a whirl. I totally get the followings of Grateful Dead and Phish fans, so I thought that Rush fans must be onto something as well. The technics of the concert, from the lights and lasers to fireworks and cannon explosions, made it a true Rock ‘n Roll show.[](https://i0.wp.com/mywalkabout.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/af753-img_0168.jpg?ssl=1) You pumped your fists along with the beat, played air guitar and air drums alongside the band, and screamed like a kid in a candy store after each epic song.[](https://i0.wp.com/mywalkabout.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/c42a7-img_0175.jpg?ssl=1) It may have taken Rush forty years of touring and making albums for me to become a fan, but I know get why people say that seeing Rush play live is an unforgettable experience. Rush rules! ### Share this: * [ Email ](https://mywalkabout.net/rush/?subject=%5BShared%20Post%5D%20Rush&body=https%3A%2F%2Fmywalkabout.net%2Frush%2F&share=email) * [Post](https://x.com/share) * [Share on Tumblr](https://www.tumblr.com/share) * [ WhatsApp ](https://mywalkabout.net/rush/?share=jetpack-whatsapp) * [ Nextdoor ](https://mywalkabout.net/rush/?share=nextdoor) * [ Threads ](https://mywalkabout.net/rush/?share=threads) * [[ * [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) * [ Reddit ](https://mywalkabout.net/rush/?share=reddit) ### Like this: Like Loading…
