No other artist has written lyrics that I can more personally relate to. ## His thoughts are my thoughts, his quest and journey mirrors the footsteps of my own path. Call it what you will. [[   ## Seeing him live tonight in the small, intimate 󠀁[Club Congress](http://hotelcongress.com/)󠁿 in Tucson was one of those moments in life you cherish, hold close to your heart, and remember during times of sadness and joy. ## Trevor told a story about his time living with the Hawaiian people, and how they have a story about the “_Bowl of Light_“. It basically is a philosophy that everyone has a bowl of light within them, all the potential goodness that you can share.   [[ ## It is easy however to get dark stones in your bowl. Evil and selfishness. There is no room for both the stone and the light, and something will have to give. ## The beauty of a bowl though is that all you need to do is turn it upside down and the stones will fall out. ##   ## You have the power to control your own Bowl of Light. ##   ## He also spoke of the importance of community, and that western culture has us seeking that perfect home, with a fence surrounding you, blocking out the people around you. ##   ## This leads to anxiety and depression, things that didn’t exist before the modern era. ##   ## We need to support and be a part of our community, to share and be One Love. ##   ## At least, that is our Wish Man.   ### Share this: * [ Email ](https://mywalkabout.net/trevor-hall/?subject=%5BShared%20Post%5D%20Trevor%20Hall&body=https%3A%2F%2Fmywalkabout.net%2Ftrevor-hall%2F&share=email) * [Post](https://x.com/share) * [Share on Tumblr](https://www.tumblr.com/share) * [ WhatsApp ](https://mywalkabout.net/trevor-hall/?share=jetpack-whatsapp) * [ Nextdoor ](https://mywalkabout.net/trevor-hall/?share=nextdoor) * [ Threads ](https://mywalkabout.net/trevor-hall/?share=threads) * [[ * [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) * [ Reddit ](https://mywalkabout.net/trevor-hall/?share=reddit) ### Like this: Like Loading…
