Was I successful, did I enjoy epic views, or did the Gods rain down hard on me, and cover the landscape in clouds? ![](https://i0.wp.com/mywalkabout.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/IMG_9582.jpg?resize =640%2C360&ssl=1) **My morning started out **promising weather wise, but as I’ve quickly learned here, things change rapidly. I head through undersea and mountain tunnels to the northern most island, only to find thick fog covering the landscape when I get to the trailhead. ![](https://i0.wp.com/mywalkabout.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/GPTempDownload- 2-2.jpg?resize=640%2C506&ssl=1) **I wait it out a bit**, but the Gods don’t seem to be relinquishing their cover. I tackle the trail anyway. A 2 and 1/2 mile straight up the mountain journey, with a rock scramble for the last 1/2 mile.
