My Walkabout

They say the Perseid meteor shower will be visible tonight
in the empty spaces of Wyoming, I pull back the curtains
looking for celestial bodies in the heavens….

 

finding only clouds spinning and turning
in angry motions.
Perhaps I’ll see beyond the clouds another day.
