A combination of getting older and not having the luxury anymore to jet off to a new concert venue at a moments notice have led to this, but I’m not complaining as it has been a good ten-year run, and I’ve seen some amazing shows and bands. These days though I find joy in something a little more low-key and relaxing, like the [symphony](https://www.phoenixsymphony.org/). ⌊HipstamaticPhoto-542431382.506468⌉** The Phoenix symphony here in Arizona** likes to combine the beauty of rock and roll music with the classic stylings of symphony instruments, which results in hearing great music in a whole new way. Case in point would be the Pink Floyd laser show I went to at the Mesa Amphitheatre a couple of weekends ago. They played the Dark Side of the Moon album in its entirety, then threw in a few other classic songs, including one of my personal favorites, “_Wish you were here_“.
