# WoD returns to Kenya - Link: https://mywalkabout.net/wod-returns-to-kenya/ - Published: 2010-07-02T10:23:00-07:00 - Author: My Walkabout [[ In June I ventured back to Kenya with[ World of Difference](http://www.makeaworldofdifference.org/) for the second time. My first visit was filled with such overwhelming emotions that I had a hard time grasping what I had just experienced, let alone write about it. I hope to do better at sharing many of the experiences I had this time around. Our t-shirt motto this year was :   THE TRUE MEANING OF LIFE IS TO PLANT TREES, UNDER WHOSE SHADE YOU DO NOT EXPECT TO SIT.   —_Nelson Henderson_   I also love this :   “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.”   —_Ranger Rick Nielson_   So this year, we continued our work on Isaac’s and Eunice’s schools. It was fantastic to see the progress made on what we had accomplished last year ( I guess I was lucky enough to enjoy some of the shade of a tree I planted).   I would like to start by sharing with you this little slide show, showcasing many of our team members, our Kenyan friends, and the beautiful children that we are giving a chance, by helping to build schools and provide supplies for them to receive an education.  I love Kenya!   ### Share this: * [ Email ](https://mywalkabout.net/wod-returns-to-kenya/?subject=%5BShared%20Post%5D%20WoD%20returns%20to%20Kenya&body=https%3A%2F%2Fmywalkabout.net%2Fwod-returns-to-kenya%2F&share=email) * [Post](https://x.com/share) * [Share on Tumblr](https://www.tumblr.com/share) * [ WhatsApp ](https://mywalkabout.net/wod-returns-to-kenya/?share=jetpack-whatsapp) * [ Nextdoor ](https://mywalkabout.net/wod-returns-to-kenya/?share=nextdoor) * [ Threads ](https://mywalkabout.net/wod-returns-to-kenya/?share=threads) * [[ * [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) * [ Reddit ](https://mywalkabout.net/wod-returns-to-kenya/?share=reddit) ### Like this: Like Loading… ## Comments ### By: William - Link: https://mywalkabout.net/wod-returns-to-kenya/#comment-93 - Published: 2010-07-18T14:36:32-07:00 Hey Jill, thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment.
