A misty morning find’s HC contemplating today’s adventure. As the clouds swirl around the red rock mountain tops, he first attempts to drive down the muddy dirt road to find the Temple of the Sun and Moon. He soon realizes that he if keeps going, his car will most likely become stuck, leading to him perishing in the unforgiving desert.

Turning around, his spirits brighten when he sees a sign pointing the way to Goblin Valley. It has been decades since he last set foot in this alien landscape. Barren and dreary is the drive to this far off location, but eventually he makes it.

This hobbit quickly decides to take a chance on the Goblin’s Lair trail. Nar another human is within sight, he steadies his hand on dagger and ventures out into the unknown….

Wide open desert stretches out to his left, and the spires of the Goblin’s Lair shadows him to his right. An eerie landscape no doubt, fit for creatures that dwell deep within the bowels of the earth.

HC walks and climbs until he comes to a deep cavern at the base of the Lair, and for just a moment thinks about going down into the hole. He decides to err on the side of caution though, foregoing the chance to see and perhaps even capture a Goblin.

The dread of omnious clouds breaks mid-day and sunshine and blue sky fill his vision as he walks back from the Lair of dark and mysterious creatures.
