The area around Bend, Oregon had been on my travel radar for quite awhile.
Last summer the windows of opportunity opened for me to finally spend some time here.
I start by exploring the lovely Deschutes river.
Trails intertwine along the pristine waters. I take in the greenery and the rock cliffs, the clear waters full of trout and crawdads.
Bend is an outdoor enthusiast’s mecca, and I make my pilgrimage in the only way that works for me…
