Another quick trip to Utah this summer to see the family. We gather up at the Fruitland cabin, another little oasis of peace for me in this world. Seeing my nieces grow and blossom with their funny personalities, as well as the rest of us getting older, but not really any wiser.
Time spent on the boating watching our next generation tube and wakeboard. These days I prefer to fish, and had a good morning of that at Strawberry. Plenty of games to be played, as well as snuggles on the couch watching the Olympics.
I meet the newest members of the family, my brother’s new dog Keeley Jones, and my Mom’s new companion to help her with anxiety and just getting older.
I let one of the girls take pictures, and her style and eye for photography makes my own heart skip a beat. Talented!
Will this be the last year that we are all together? Who knows, but I do cherish each year we can gather….
