“I’m going to try and find some snow this weekend.”

“In Arizona?”

Lets bust some myths about Arizona. Although the Valley of the Sun has no snow, one only has to venture a couple of hours northward to find an entirely new landscape in this diverse State, one that is full of mountains, high desert country, and snow.

Even in a dry year such as this has been, The Arizona Snowbowl was open and operational, which let me itch my sticks and enjoy a day on the slopes.
Being a former Utahn, I had high expectations for a ski resort, and surprisingly the Snowbowl satisfied me. High elevations, steep runs, and gorgeous scenery were in spades.
I shredded the pow pow, climbed some boobies, and chilled in the winter sun with a dark IPA and the tastiest falafel I’ve ever eaten.

Not too shabby of a day. Well done Arizona.
