Spring training for Major League Baseball was here, my favorite season in Arizona. I get a ticket to the Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, although I forgot which teams were playing.

This marked the second to last thing I did before the Nationwide Stay at Home order in the middle of March, culminating with the shut down of Baseball, basketball, school, the economy, etc…..

I miss baseball terribly, especially going to see live games. Cardboard cut-outs filling the seats for games that have started playing again is a start, but not a substitute for real fans.

They can’t support the vendors, cheer like real people, understand the complexities of the sport. It’s a start, I suppose, and maybe our new normal.

But I hope not.

Wench, bring my ale, what say you?
