I’m not much of a talker. I suppose my label would be a type “B” personality. I think that most times actions speak louder than words. Which is why I love giraffes.


 Giraffes do not communicate through sounds. You may, on the very rare occasion, hear them make a slight grunt, but that’s it. Giraffes communicate with their eyes.

The amazing Alyesun made a great analogy about the communication of giraffes to that of us volunteers communicating with those even though there may have been a language barrier.

 
Because when you communicate with your eyes, and your heart, words don’t need to be spoken.

 

 

Giraffes also have natural antibiotics in their saliva. So kiss one for good health.
