When I show up to one of several funerals
I’ve attended for Grandpa this week.
The lyrics haunted me long after I first heard them, and this song made me an instant fan of Father John Misty. I recall finding a place to see him in concert as soon as the song was done playing, and a few months later, flew across the country to see him.
