Spring has sprung here in the SLC, and with the warming sun comes the Red Butte concert series for the summer. To start off my season of fantastic line-up’s comes Black Hole Oscillators, the opening band of the evening.
Laying down trippy riffs and long jam sessions, these guys were perfect to listen to as the sun went down.
The main act was Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. Previously I only knew of their wildly popular hit, Home. Seeing them live though opened me up to their massive talent, incredible stage presence, and undeniable creativity. Not too forget, they are freakin funny.
My favorite song performance was “Truth”. Give it a listen….
