Masters of the Universe

In the early 1980’s, my favorite hour after school was when the cartoons He-Man and Thundercats played back to back. I never had the toys (too poor) but I would often go to the neighbor’s house to play with their action figures and castle Greyskull.

So I was excited to hopefully have some big, dumb, summer blockbuster movie fun, going down childhood memory lane. And for the most part, this movie delivered just that. I may have even silently screamed out “I Have The Power!” at just the right moment in the film.

So if you are a ten year old boy, or are someone that remembers being a kid during the 1980’s when this show was on every afternoon and either had the toy’s or at least played with someone that had them, I think you’ll have a good time.
