Traveling back to Salt Lake City for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as work holiday themed parties had me in the Holiday spirit all of November and December.

My full Grinch costume was a big hit at work.

Had a great day skiing with family up in Utah until we got separated from my nephew who was snowboarding, then he crashed by himself and hurt his leg. We ended up having to use the ski patrol as we yelled from the lift to try and locate him, then got him in a sled and down the mountain. All ended well with just some bruising, but it was quite the adventure.

Got my younger nieces their own hand made Icelandic fox hats, which were a hit with three out of four. Got my nephew a sweet and legit light saber, and got Crazylegs and her boyfriend TVA journals from Loki (we are all big Marvel comic book fans).

We fitted in time for some family pictures, which made the ‘rents happy. I was able to also squeeze in a Utah football game, as well as plenty of time for games, movies, and food.

Mom came up with this great idea for a canvas picture. We all dipped a hand in paint, then pressed onto the canvas for a timeless capture of each of us in this year of time. I loved the 2023 holiday season.
