The choices that we make in life. Choosing love versus success. Your love of creating music versus the daughter you created. Your life back in America versus the reality of living abroad in Ireland. This is the simple premise of the new movie Power Ballard, starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas.
I needed to cleanse my palette from the distaste that the movie Disclosure Day left in my mouth. My go to Youtube movie Reviewer, Dan Murrell, had mentioned he saw a double feature of The Sheep Detectives/Power Ballard, and that although he enjoyed both, something about Power Ballard he really liked. So I took a chance. And this little movie had exactly what I needed. Humor, emotion, and a feel good story that had my smiling and humming as I left the theater.
