The temperature was above 90 degrees, and it wasn’t even 9am yet in Denver. The record heat this summer in the USA hasn’t escaped the Rocky mountains, but I wasn’t easily deterred. I was exploring more of the Red Rocks park today.

The amphitheater is the most famous arena of the park, but there are plenty of trails as well to explore. With granola and water pack secure, I headed up the trail.

The rocks that rose before me look like great launching pads for alien aircraft… or possibly a place to send out good vibrations to the world.
