Without fail at this time of year, I have nothing to say these days. Short spans of sunlight, bitter cold, and the heavy weight of sadness all seem to bear down on me during the longer wintry days and nights. The few thoughts I can put together seem to be revolving around Cairo, the Middle East, Africa, and a revolution for the people.
With all the news stories and posts about Cairo, I wanted to share with you something you most likely did not read. A person’s personal account of Cairo while living there.

Please read Internet blackout in Egypt, notes for a personal account of the first days of the Cairo uprising.

P.S. I hope that the Egyptian people get what they deserve out of all of this.
