Between the sleepy towns of Willcox and Douglas, and a stones throw away from the US/Mexico border, is a magical little winery called Tirrito Farms. Nothing but open skies, mountains and a line of Domes that one can stay in to enjoy everything this area has to offer. I stayed in the Beer Dome.

After a day of exploring, I would come back to enjoy a cocktail as the monsoon storms would roll through the valley, creating magnificent cloud formations. After the sun went down, the stars above put on a brilliant second showing, with strange lights coming from Mexico….

Mornings were just as glorious as I walked along the vineyards, into the farm itself to greet the animals, or have a coffee to the sound of birds singing.

I was looking for something a bit offbeat, and found it here at Tirrito Farms.
