Below the Mogollon Rim lies the sleepy cabin community of Christopher Creek. After a day of fishing and exploring, H.C. returns to his creekside cabin to enjoy the cooler summertime temperatures and slow nature of life that is to be found here.

He had heard about the elk that wander around here, trimming people’s grass with their grazing. He was surprised by their frequent visits to his greenspace, their large majestic frames slowly watching him on the porch.
As the sun sets and the night sets in, the elk retreat and the abundance of stars fill the night sky in a twinkling brilliance. H.C. works his night time lapse and drone to see what he can capture on this adventure.

The smattering of cabins and trailers here along the dirt road have their own kind of charm. People looking for a simpler kind of life, stress free. It is something that H.C. craves more and more with each passing day. Less than four years until that dream can start to become a reality.

Until that time comes, he will just save his pennies and occasionally spend a bit of cash to have a couple days up in the mountains. It helps to remind him of his end goal….
