Everyone likes it when you get so much more than what you were expecting. For me, what I thought would be a quiet evening of classical music turned into one of my favorite concert going experiences.
When Red Butte Gardens announced a “Time for Three with the Utah Symphony” show, I bought a ticket due to them being relatively cheap.
I had no idea that Time For Three was their own musical powerhouse of stringed musicians.
I also was pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the inaugural performance of the Utah Symphony up at Red Butte.
As I sat back, music mash ups of classic songs mixed with popular tunes, old favorites, and movie scores blew me away.
