In June I ventured back to Kenya with World of Difference for the second time. My first visit was filled with such overwhelming emotions that I had a hard time grasping what I had just experienced, let alone write about it. I hope to do better at sharing many of the experiences I had this time around.
Our t-shirt motto this year was :

THE TRUE MEANING OF LIFE IS TO PLANT TREES,
UNDER WHOSE SHADE YOU DO NOT EXPECT TO SIT.

Nelson Henderson

I also love this :

“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.”

Ranger Rick Nielson

So this year, we continued our work on Isaac’s and Eunice’s schools. It was fantastic to see the progress made on what we had accomplished last year ( I guess I was lucky enough to enjoy some of the shade of a tree I planted).

I would like to start by sharing with you this little slide show, showcasing many of our team members, our Kenyan friends, and the beautiful children that we are giving a chance, by helping to build schools and provide supplies for them to receive an education.  I love Kenya!
