Everyone else is wishing you Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas on their blogs.

It is December the 25th today.

I’ll do something different though and tell you about my night with Trey a few weeks ago.

Ever since I heard the album “Billy Breathes” back in 1998, I’ve been a big fan of the band Phish. I’ve seen them play live twice, once in Washington State at the Gorge, and once in Wisconsin at the Apple Valley Amp.

Those days are just glorious memories though, as time and age have me looking for a more subdued and laid back musical experience.

So when I see that Trey is playing an acoustic show at the Mesa Amp (which is only 15 minutes from my house) on December the 6th, I excitedly get a ticket.

Trey doesn’t play traditional set lists. Instead people yell out songs they want to hear, and Trey obliges. This means you never know what you are going to get.

Enjoy snippets of this amazing and unique experience, and Merry freakin’ Christmas.

Wench, bring my ale, what say you?
