My Walkabout

So last night I gathered together most of the Fam (Darin and Janae had a dinner group thing to attend and couldn’t make it) and we all went out to see the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. It turned out to be more of a sequel to Casino Royale than i thought, and so those in the group who hadn’t seen the previous movie were a little lost. But even with that, all seemed to enjoy the show. I personally thought the movie was great! Afterwards we were hungry and decided to try out a new little pub just outside of the theater at the District, called MacCool’s. It was an Irish restaurant, with a very cool and relaxing decor and atomosphere, and surprisingly really good food. From my lamb ribs to Dad’s sheperd’s pie, Emily’s cabbage and corned beef, to Mom’s pan seared crab cakes, all enjoyed this great little place.
