From the Archives : Farm life on Sauvie Island

The summer of 2018 found myself on Sauvie Island, just outside of Portland Oregon. I chop wood, spending long summer days swinging in a porch side hammock reading newspapers of old, and pick fresh fruits and vegetables when hungry. It was a simple life, and reminded me of when I was a young boy and would go to my Aunt and Uncle’s cattle ranch in northern Utah. I believe it was out here that I first started dabbling in night sky time lapse photography, trying to capture an image of something that would help me understand my place in the universe. I still am trying to do that last bit….
